The BIG day of my arrival

This eventful day started when Mummy felt some water leaking out at abt 0530 . Mummy wasn't sure whether it was the water bag leaking at first... she wanted to go back to sleep and wait for more signs. But as more and more water was coming out, she got worried and informed Daddy abt it (Daddy was at outfield training those few days and Mummy was staying with her parents). While waiting for Daddy to come, she was so calm that she didn't forget to take a shower and had her favourite instant noodles for breakfast =)

Here's a picture of my Mummy after reaching Thomson Medical Centre. She was still happily reading her book and thought the contractions were nothing more than tummyache =P But by 1400, she was already rolling here and there in pain. Though Daddy and Mummy had been praying for a "supernatural birth" without the use of pain relief, Mummy couldn't take the pain and discomfort anymore and asked for lauging gas & finally epidural at 1600!

When Dr Teo checked on Mummy at 1700, he said that my heartbeat was dropping, but Mummy's dilation was only 4 to 5cm. To prevent me from being further distressed in Mummy's tummy, they decided to have an emergency caesarean.

This is how I looked like when I was born at 1736!

And here're my vital statistics:
